The World's Oldest Dirty Jokes - Edison Labs (1892)

These are the worlds oldest recorded dirty jokes. They come from a box of wax cylinders labled "Not for mixed company!" that is located at the Edison National Historic Site in East Orange, New Jersey. The ENHS was formerly Edison Laboratories, built in 1888 after Edison moved from Menlo Park, New Jersey. It is now run by the National Parks department. This is where the world's first recording studio was located.
